Meet Fadima, a YES Scholarship Recipient from Mali! My favorite activity is reading. I spend a lot of time reading because it’s very exciting for me. As soon as I start reading I feel like I absolutely need to know what happens next and how the story ends. I like to read books and stories about people’s past experiences; the problem they had to face, how they solved them , what they have learned and especially how their past has changed their daily life. Reading also allows me to get more open minded everyday . In my free time I like solving puzzles or playing board games. Solving puzzles takes time, need reflection and calm that is why I like it. I usually play board games with my friends and my cousin . I’m really interested in exploring new and famous places in the US . I also want to try new sports like golf, ice hockey, American football.
