Hello, my name Amelia. I’ve loved English since primary school! Last semester, I even joined an English drama club at school. Friends describe me as a “sunflower person”—cheerful and always looking for the bright side. As a class leader, I helped my teacher with handing in and out homework as well as helping classmates deal with their difficulties. Ballet and Chinese dance are my secret languages! I’ve practiced ballet for 8 years and won a gold medal in last year’s Youth Dance Competition. As the captain of our school dance team, I advise my members to blend Eastern and Western styles. Our latest work mixed classical Chinese fan dance with hip-hop music—it went viral on the school’s official account! I dream of being a “culture bridge”.
