Meet Balaj, a 15-year-old YES scholar who will be joining high school in the U.S. this fall! Balaj is a passionate reader and creative artist who enjoys painting and sketching in his free time. He also loves horseback riding and appreciates the focus and responsibility it requires. An active student, Balaj has taken part in debates, Model United Nations, and English speech competitions. While in the U.S., he looks forward to joining school clubs like debate or English club, taking music classes, and discovering new books not available in his home country.
