Hi! I’m Marco, a 16-year-old student from Bolivia who loves music, sports, and school. I work hard to keep strong grades because I enjoy understanding how things work, especially in math and subjects that involve logic and analysis. Playing the violin is one of the most important parts of my life, I practice every day, rehearse with my youth orchestra as one of the first violins, and perform at community events, which has taught me discipline and focus. I also play basketball as a point guard for my school team and club, competing in tournaments and representing my town at a national championship, experiences that strengthened my teamwork and leadership skills. In addition, I enjoy writing poetry inspired by my family and culture. During my exchange year, I hope to continue growing academically, join an orchestra and a basketball team, and fully integrate into my host family’s daily life while creating meaningful memories in the United States.
