My name is Anna and I am a 16-year-old student from Germany who is excited to experience life in the United States. I would describe myself as ambitious, empathetic and well organized. I play volleyball and I have training twice a week for 1.5 to 2 hours and we play in the district league. I really enjoy reading, mostly online, also on my phone or iPad. I also like swimming. It’s not really a hobby, but in the summer I like to go to the canal with my friends. I’m an altar server. So I sometimes serve at church services or baptisms. I also tutor German at school and I hand out the church newsletter every two weeks. Something that makes our family special is our sense of humor. Especially on my dad’s side, almost everyone has a great sense of humor, and I’m always very happy when my cousins or my aunt and her husband are here.
