Greenheart recently had the pleasure of attending the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) in Lisbon, Portugal. Representing our team were Daniel Ebert (President), Jason Nusser (VP, Business Development & Operations), and Taylor Kay (Work and Travel Senior Director)— who embraced every opportunity to connect with event attendees.

From the moment the conference kicked off, our representatives were immersed in a dynamic schedule of events designed to foster meaningful connections and industry growth. Whether it was through the arrival volunteering activity, pre-scheduled business appointments, engaging seminars, or the lively social gatherings, Daniel, Jason, and Taylor found themselves surrounded by inspiring individuals and organizations dedicated to shaping the future of youth travel.
The Highlight of the Annual Event!
An annual highlight for our team is the chance to reconnect with long-standing partners while also forging exciting new relationships. The structured business appointments provided a focused environment for strategic discussions, while the informal social events allowed for more relaxed, personal interactions that often-sparked fresh ideas and collaborations.
Valuable Insights into Emerging Trends!
The seminars offered valuable insights into emerging trends, challenges, and innovations within the industry. Our team returned energized and full of new perspectives to bring back to Greenheart’s ongoing initiatives. Volunteering at the Banco Alimentar (Food Bank) of Lisbon on the first day also added a meaningful layer to the experience, allowing our representatives to give back to the Lisbon community and engage with the attendees on a deeper level.
