Greenheart Exchange launched its Summer 2026 hiring season with an energizing event in Chicago, bringing together host organizations for interviews, networking, and some festivities.
This two-day event is designed for new and returning Greenheart Host Organizations participating in the J-1 Work and Travel Program. It offers a unique opportunity to conduct interviews with international candidates, make real-time hiring decisions, and connect with fellow hosts from around the country.
The Support Greenheart Offers Host Organization during Hiring Events
One host commented that even though she could have interviewed in her own office, she appreciated the uninterrupted time to focus on interviews at the Greenheart office – something that’s hard to achieve in her own workplace. After the interviews, she also took time to go to the Christkindlmarket – a staple Chicago Holiday tradition.
A Festive Evening Exploring Chicago
Before the interviews, the group enjoyed a festive evening exploring Chicago’s holiday magic. Hosts gathered for a Mediterranean dinner and then strolled through the dazzling Lincoln Park ZooLights display – a perfect way to celebrate the season and connect outside the office.
