This is the first year we have hired J-1 Culinary Interns at Snowbird, and from our experience so far, it won’t be our last—we’re already interviewing candidates for this summer.
Our J-1 Culinary Interns are truly hungry to learn. They work hard, bring incredible energy, and are eager to share their knowledge, flavors, culture, and cooking methods. We’ve already incorporated many of their ideas into our recipes and menus—it has been exciting, and our Chefs have genuinely enjoyed the collaboration.

At Snowbird, we operate 18 different Food & Beverage outlets, a large conference services division, and a 10‑week food festival. Our interns have been able to experience multiple kitchens and every aspect of our food and beverage business. They bring a unique cultural perspective that enriches our operations and enhances our guest experience.

We love the diversity they add to our already unique culture. These students push us to be better because we feel a real responsibility to guide, mentor, and teach them. In return, we benefit from educated, motivated interns who work efficiently and contribute meaningfully to our teams—including helping us reduce labor costs while elevating the quality of our culinary programs.

BridgeUSA participants strengthen our workforce, our culture, and our community. Their presence leaves a lasting impact on Snowbird.
