Enjoying Life, American Style!

I am Yakun Liu from China and I am looking forward to sharing my wonderful experiences with you! Recently, I went on a boat trip to the Wisconsin Dells with my friends Aoi, Alex, and Vlad, and we had a really great time there!

On the Army Duck Tours, I learned a lot about the history of the boats, which have been around since World War II. The tour guide was also very funny and made us smile all day long. I remember the guide said, “Look at the stairs! Where are they going? Nowhere, they’re just stairs.” The scenery was also amazing. There were layers of different colored rocks along the shore. We really enjoyed the tour!

After the boat trip, we went to Mount. Olympus Theme Park. We went on roller coasters, go-karts, and the big swings. It was all crazy and amazing! The people there were very nice and friendly. I think we were all rather brave that day because we went on the roller coaster four times! It was an incredible experience. At first we were very scared of the rides, but in the end, we loved it so much. We screamed and laughed—it was a crazy day!

Overall, I have discovered that Americans are really good at taking a vacation and enjoying life. It is a really nice lifestyle and everyone is always full of energy.
