Summer Blockbusters You Can’t Miss!

It’s over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, humid, and you want to find a place that is cool. Where do you go? Easy, the movie theater of course! Don’t get me wrong, the summer is all about being outdoors and enjoying the weather. However, sometimes it is just too hot! Not only are you escaping the ridiculously hot weather, but you also get to enjoy a great movie and some cultural exchange. You may not know this, but the summer is when movie studios debut their blockbusters.

If you’re into action, these are the top 5 movies, in my opinion, you can’t miss!

  1. The Avengers: Infinity War – Out now

Technically, this one already came out. However, I would still consider it a summer blockbuster. If you are a fan of superheroes, the Avengers is great. You have a little bit of everything – action, comedy, drama, romance, and suspense. If you have not seen other Marvel films, I would advise you to take a crash course in Marvel superhero characters.

  1. Deadpool 2 – May 18th

Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool!  If this one is anything like the first one, it is going to be very funny and action-packed. Plus, we get to meet more superheroes!

  1. The Incredibles 2 – June 15th

Fourteen years after the first Incredibles movie came out, we finally get a sequel! If you like good, wholesome family movies, this one is for you. Plus, it is Pixar and they do not make bad movies.

  1. Ocean’s 8 – June 8th

Have you seen Ocean’s Eleven, or the sequels Ocean’s 12 and Ocean’s 13? No? Well, don’t worry, you can still watch Ocean’s 8. It is a completely new cast and all female. It has some pretty well-known actresses – Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, and Sarah Paulson – as well as Rihanna!

  1. Mission Impossible: Fallout – July 27th

Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt. Need I say more? Not really, but I will anyway. I would watch this just for the amazing action stunts. If you like action, you’re not going to want to miss this! I would recommend watching the previous Mission Impossible movies before seeing this, but you’ll be able to follow along even if you don’t.
