Greenheart Exchange’s TEACH USA program – Allowed Placements Map


Our TEACH USA program connects enthusiastic, highly qualified international teachers with U.S. primary and secondary schools to promote cultural understanding and public diplomacy.

Greenheart Exchange recruits highly qualified teachers from all over the world who teach a variety of subjects, including elementary education, STEM, world languages, and special education.

Participants in the Teach USA program must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Meet the qualifications for teaching at the primary or secondary levels in schools in their country of nationality
2. Have a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in either Education or the subject area they intend to teach
3. Have a minimum of 2 years teaching or related professional experience
4. Satisfy the teaching eligibility standards of the U.S. state in which they will teach
5. Be of good reputation and character
6. Be proficient in English

Self-Placed Teachers:  

If you are an interested teacher with an official offer and/or Letter of Intent, please note that all new host schools must be approved by Greenheart Exchange.
