By Sarah Flynn, School Relations Manager, Greenheart Exchange.

Teach USA went to Nashville! Tyler Brown (Teach USA Manager) and Sarah Flynn (School Relations Manager) attended the American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA)’s 87th Annual Conference with the theme “Tuning into Talent”.

The Importance of the AASPA Annual Conference

The AASPA Annual Conference is the largest and most important annual gathering for school human resource administrators and professionals. The team connected with over 50 human resource administrators from all over the country to discuss Greenheart’s Teach USA program and promote positive exchange experiences for our educators. Greenheart was proud to showcase how the Teach USA Programs helps bring cultural exchange into U.S. classrooms. Over the course of a few days, Greenheart connected with numerous administrators to share stories and expand knowledge about Greenheart programs throughout the U.S.

Intentional and Inspiring Discussions

With sessions on AI in Human Resources, understanding Human Resources platforms, and Hosting International Talent, Greenheart staff engaged with School Personnel Administrators across the U.S. in meaningful and thought-provoking discussions. By participating in networking opportunities such as the Exhibit Hall Reception and Networking throughout Nashville, Greenheart staff found myriad opportunities to share stories of Teach USA participants and host schools. As this conference was geared towards Human Resources professionals, Greenheart staff focused on the value of hosting international teachers and the cultural exchange experience to be gained from hosting a Teach USA participant.

Hosting Highly Qualified Teachers with Greenheart’s Teach USA

Greenheart’s Teach USA program brings highly qualified, experienced educators from all over the world to U.S. classrooms. Those international teachers enhance cultural exchange and give American students the world. Over the course of three-four years, teachers can expect to sharpen their professional skills while engaging in meaningful cross-cultural activities to enhance cultural exchange. Participating teachers are experienced in a wide range of subjects including STEM, Special Education, World Languages, and Elementary Education.

Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Cultural Exchange in 2025!
