Hi! I’m Helio, an outgoing and adventurous 17-year-old from the beautiful valleys of Bolivia! I love meeting new people, staying active, and trying new things. Soccer has been my passion since childhood, and I also recently started wrestling, which has taught me discipline and perseverance. I’d love to join a team in the U.S. I enjoy playing traditional Bolivian songs on my guitar and helping my dad, a veterinarian, care for animals on our family farm. At school, I love physics and chemistry and recently participated in a chemistry competition. Cultural exchange is special to my family, as my dad and both siblings were successful exchange students in the U.S with Greenheart. Now it’s my turn! I can’t wait to experience American high school life, make new friends, share my culture, and become a real part of my host family’s daily life.
