Hi! I’m Joaquín, a 17-year-old from Bolivia who’s always been eager to explore the world. I come from a family of doctors who’ve taught me the value of empathy, discipline, and staying curious. I love science, photography, and being active—whether I’m playing basketball, going to the gym, or just enjoying the outdoors. I’ve also rescued several animals and now live with four cats and a dog who are a big part of my life. I’ve grown up in a beautiful colonial town, surrounded by extended family, great Sunday lunches, holiday traditions, and a lot of laughter. My older brother spent a year in Florida in a space-focused aeronautics program, and ever since, I’ve dreamt of visiting the United States as a student—to experience everyday life, improve my English, and learn about American culture.
