Job Responsibilities and Details

  • Implement the required English curriculum across multiple grade levels.
  • Provide effective classroom management to support student learning.
  • Assist in school operations and contribute to extracurricular activities as needed.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with parents, staff, and students.
  • Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment encourages language development and literacy.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, English, or a related field.
  • Native fluency in the English language (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of best practices in elementary education.
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
  • Ability to collaborate on bilingual projects with French language teachers, including bilingual co-teaching.
  • Passion for student learning and development and for providing learning in keeping with student needs.
