September was definitely a roller coaster of emotions!!
I started this month adjusting to everything since i had only been hear for a few weeks. I joined the cross country team and every single person was super supportive, helpful and lovely. I’m genuinely so fortunate for them!!
This month was also homecoming and here in Texas we have a tradition where we bring “mums” to school. Mums are a kind of flower that you decorate and put over your clothes and take to school. The seniors had the prettiest ones!!
Homecoming dance was pretty different from anything i’ve ever been to but it was a wonderful experience that i got to live with my friends!
I went shopping with my host mum and found the most perfect dress for me.
My host family and local coordinator, Connie Dean, are the most supportive and loveliest people ever!! They are incredibly generous and kind, i could not ask for anything better!!
I’m excited to see what the next month has to bring!!
