Representatives of Greenheart attended the School Superintendents Association (AASA) National Conference on Education (NCE) that took place in early March 2025. The Conference was held in New Orleans on March 6-8. This premier event brought together school superintendents and administrators from across the country. It offered unparalleled opportunities for professional development and networking. The Transformative Power of Cultural Exchange
Throughout the conference, Greenheart representatives engaged in in-depth discussions with school leaders about the transformative power of cultural exchange. We explored how Greenheart’s programs like Teach USA and CAP can enrich curriculum offerings, and help schools meet their goals for student engagement and inclusivity.
BridgeUSA J1 Updates and Department of State Sessions: Enriching Experiences
A particularly enriching part of the conference was the session involving updates from BridgeUSA J1 and Department of State speakers. The insights shared during these sessions deepened our understanding of the ongoing evolution of the J-1 visa programs. There was a focus on maintaining cultural exchange as a central tenet. Attendees were able to engage with thought leaders and gain valuable information about the latest developments. That will help enhance program administration and further promote the impact of cultural exchange across the U.S.

BridgeUSA J-1 Teacher Panel Featuring Host Schools
The Conference also dedicated a session that focused on how host schools use the BridgeUSA J-1 Teacher program. The insights shared from host schools during this session helped deepen the audience’s understanding of the Teacher program, with a focus on the role that hosts schools and sponsors play in facilitating the program, and the many benefits teachers have on American schools and communities they live and work in. We were thrilled to hear directly form one of our host schools, Hardin Public Schools, on the positive impact teachers are playing in their community and the role the school plays in fostering a welcoming and positive environment for the teachers.
