Eight Greenheart BridgeUSA teachers hosted at Caroline County Public Schools were happily recognized at the Bowling Green Town Council Meeting that took place on November 7th. They love the dedication of our teachers and the experiences that they provide. The teachers have brought wonderful suggestions and fresh ideas to their US counterparts.
Hosting International Teachers Creates Positive Experiences
The community has really adopted our teachers in the most positive way. We have a spreadsheet where volunteers can sign up to take them on trips, shopping, or host them for meals! It has been a beautiful thing to experience. Our community has rallied around them.
Honoring the Eight Teachers at the Town Council Meeting
The Bowling Green Town Council wanted to formally recognize these teachers and their contributions to our community. The teachers live right in the center of town and have been out to the local harvest festival and out at different shops and restaurants and churches. The town wants them to feel welcomed!
